Tom Thumb partners with Rebuilding Together Dallas

Tom Thumb was a proud partner in this year’s Rebuilding Together project which took place on Saturday, April 28 in Dallas, and included multiple houses on the same street! Tom Thumb volunteers worked on two neighboring houses painting, planting, cleaning, and even digging a drainage ditch and assembling a kids’ picnic table! The work was labor intensive but very rewarding!

Rebuilding Together is the nation’s largest volunteer home repair organization and is the recipient of funds from our in-store People with Disabilities Campaign. A BIG thank you to Lori Corley (SD, #3658) Tom Thumb’s House Captain, as well as Brian Bausch (DM, D2) for rallying volunteers from his district. Several Dallas public officials were on hand including Mayor Rawlings and City Councilwoman Carolyn Davis.
